The classic lineup Dokken reunited in 2016.   Dokken will be releasing a DVD for their only U.S. performance, so I thought I'd make a mock cover for this release.  To extend the project, I also decided to make a lyric video for a song from 1995, a shirt design aimed at their U.S. performance, and a patriotic,

yet Dokken-esque, graphic.

This is a lyric video for "Shadows of Life" by Dokken.  The video uses imagery from the cover to their album, Dysfunctional, and footage from their Live Japan '95 release.  The members in the video correlate with how they were shown on the original album.  This was the first lyric video I have made and gave me a lot of experience with timing.  The video was mostly built in 3D, then was edited further in After Effects.

This is a rendered clip of the DVD case I created.  This would ideally play at the end of a new promotional video for the band, for example, after the lyric video.  Additionally, there is audio scripted and voiced by myself.  I used the most popular songs of the band.  The audio could also be used as a radio spot.

Here is a still of the DVD cover.  I based the concept of Dokken's previous releases, where they have had a reoccurring bird.  Since this was a patriotic theme, I decided to make this bird an eagle.  The photo used on the back cover was taken at the actual performance.  It wasn't taken by me, though I wish I was there to take it!

This is a T-shirt design using the same graphic and a simple message.
